One Chester County school, Conestoga Senior High, was ranked second in the state of Pennsylvania and number one in Chester County.

Here are the top 10 best high schools in Chester County, according to Niche.

10. Downingtown HS West
9. Phoenixville Area HS
8. East HS
7. Henderson HS
6. Downingtown HS East
5. Bayard Rustin HS
4. Unionville HS
3. Great Valley HS
2. Downingtown STEM Academy
1. Conestoga Senior High

Niche says the latest rankings are based on "rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Factors include teacher quality, high school ratings, college readiness, state test scores, and graduation rates (click here for more on methodology).

This year's rankings do not consider SAT/ACT scores "to reflect a general de-emphasis on test scores in the college admissions process.
